DEC is proud to serve dancers with three spacious studios, each with a sprung flooring system and Harlequin Marley covering. DEC also has three dressing rooms, reception area and dance apparel and shoe boutique.

Founder and Director

In 2001, Ms. Rogoski founded the Dance Education Center to provide a quality dance experience rich with technique and individual development. Since then, in addition to directing the school, she has presented at the NDEO national conference, has choreographed several community productions and has been a guest speaker at schools and universities. She has been published in Dance Teacher, Dance Magazine and the Journal on Dance Education and has been commended on her work by numerous dance professionals throughout the country. Dance Education Center was celebrated as Portage County’s Small Business of the Year in 2020 and in 2016, Ms. Rogoski was honored with the Wisconsin Dance Council Margaret H'Doubler Award. In 2014 she was awarded a scholarship to study at the Dance Education Laboratory in New York City, she was selected as UW-Madison’s School of Education 2010 Outstanding Recent Graduate and in 2009 she received the outstanding National Registered Dance Educator Award. 

Nicole Tori Rogoski, Nationally Registered Dance Educator, earned a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Choreography and Performance from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ms. Rogoski taught at Elm Creative Arts Elementary and the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, teaching and lecturing in creative dance, ballet, modern, jazz, anatomy, alignment and dance history. She attended the American College Dance Festival as a dancer and choreographer, studied at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and performed with the noranewdancecompany. In addition, Ms. Rogoski is licensed to teach in Wisconsin public schools, is certified in first aid and CPR, has worked with individuals of all abilities and is an active member and former President of the Wisconsin Dance Council and an active member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).
